It feels like it's going to be an early fall on the north shore of Lake Superior. Many trees are already changing a brilliant red and yellow. In contrast, I made this photo on October 5th of last year. I have a feeling that this location may peak late September this year.
Early morning in northeastern Iowa. This spot is one of the prettiest farm scenes in the country. If it was anywhere other than Iowa, it would be overrun with photographers every sunrise in the summer. But it is in Iowa, so few go.
