Yeah, I’ve blocked @bot so I don’t accidentally do that. I could see it maybe being useful back before the massive influx we recently had, and only if it posted the top 3 or so posts of a subreddit per day.
Now it’s useless, arguably making Lemmy worse. It seems plenty active here now that I’ve subscribed to a bunch of (real) communities.
I heard about it last year when I was getting into Mastodon during all the Twitter drama. When I visited, it was a ghost town. Glad it took off now though, I’ve been looking for an excuse to jump off reddit for years.
