The 3D Printing Subreddit has moved to forums.rhombik.com/c/3d_printing . But I can't seem to find it in kbin's search. There was a previous thread asking a similar question about another migrated sub, but based on the solution there, my best guess was that I should go directly to...
You'd normally just search "3d_printing@forum.rhombik.com" from kbin.social to federate it with this instance but that doesnt seem to be working. There were a lot of lemmy instances with this issue but its becoming less and less as they get patched.
Once its federated to kbin.social your /m/ URL will work.
No problem. That is correct; there is nothing you can do. A temporary solution would be to make an account on a lemmy instance that they are federating properly with.
A week or two ago there were 10+ instances with this issue and it seems to be down to only a few now so hopefully this won't be an issue for much longer.
Hey Kbin-folk, I’ve recently published my take on the “threadiverse” in the form of a quasi-guide but with some other commentary. Appreciate any feedback, good or bad!
Great info. I think where you first define Lemmy you should also mention that its in the fediverse, like you did for kbin. This would make it more obvious that they're essentially just different front-ends to the same content.
