@arzi @drazraeltod Yes, ants also nurture their wounded. I guess humans do it more out of compassion / empathy though, while the ants aid fellow ants for the purpose of keeping soldiers who can fight again.

@drazraeltod Yes, it's instinctive. Humans are a tad more sophisticated than ants, having consciousness, self-awareness, empathy, capacity to reply to Mastodon posts, etc.. 😉
