My favorite laptop is a the 10 year old Asus Zenbook ux305f. It was slow when it came out but, runs flawlessly. It's fanless, great on battery, the battery and ssd are user replaceable, and has a 1080p matte display. Old tech can be great tech.

Back on @fedora 38. Debian was pretty solid, but I like access to the latest apps. Specifically the latest version of Firefox, which performs much better.

@bookworm @fedora Yeah, that's another option. The differences with Debian were not compelling enough to keep me from going back to Fedora. It is great to have choice though isn't it!?

@bookworm @fedora For me its @gnome. I love the simplicity and the default KB shortcuts make sense to me.

@bookworm @fedora @gnome Yes. For kb shortcuts: Settings > Keyboard > View and Customize Shortcuts. For mouse button config: Settings > Mouse and Touchpad.
