Reddit refugee here since the 12th. i'm glad i gave up my subs and left reddit. I haven't looked back. the whole thought of the #fediverse and being able to talk to anyone from other instances is amazing!
I see a lot of comments from bootlickers on how the protests are dumb and stupid and dont work and engagement metrics are still holding but the quality of posts and comments has noticeably depreciated imo. So much so that whenever I visit the site Im actually shocked at how bad it is.
Who checks reddit anymore? I don't check the site at all. even if they did let third party apps back u/spez could always go back on his word. lemmy and the #fediverse where here to catch us when we became stranded!
I think the best outcome of the ongoing Reddit corporate trashfire would be if each subreddit mod team opened their own Kbin server for supporting and migrating their community, running their way. #RedditMigration#Reddit#Kbin#social#fediverse
Do you know the URL syntax to do the same from mastodon? Lemmy uses /c/ for community and Kbin /m/ for magazine, but I have no idea how to do similarly from a mastodon instance.
When I began exploring the #fediverse I must have made 5 accounts across various instances, but I really want to keep it all on one account (somehow).
I haven't been on Reddit since the 11th... Anyone else? (kbin.fedi.cr)
Just realized that the other day....
Does anybody feel like the quality of reddit has already dropped massively? (kbin.social) en

I got a lemmy account and a kbin account while deciding what i like best. Since I'm new to this i'm having trouble searching and "subscribing" lemmy communities while on kbin and viceversa. Can someone please help me with this issue? (kbin.social) en
Second time doing this because I made a "post" the first time, I feel kinda lost to be honest.
