The trash one is a little outdated and won't necessarily put the trashed file where the user's GUI file manager would put it.
gio trash FILE and kfmclient move FILE trash:/ are the compatible commands under GNOME and KDE respectively. Derivatives generally use one or the other.
Unfortunately, the KDE one is somewhat tricky to do with an alias, what with the parameter being in the middle. I am also unsure as to whether it has a force option. Web results are inconclusive and I'm on a GNOME derivative.

Finally ordered an old PC to use for self-hosting. Can’t wait to get my own cloud services at home, no more of Google annoying me about how I’m like 20 GB over my 15 GB Google Photos free storage. Any suggestions for the software/hardware? Still have to get an extra SSD as the boot drive and a monitor in the meantime.
I wonder why you list the window managers/desktop environments separately. One would think that all Arch-based distributions (“distros”) support most window managers anyway?

Environments. Generally distros provide excellent clues to learn from... As for sameness, it is difficult to achieve design & implementation objectives if you don't know how someone created a particular setup. New tools and tricks appear all the time.

I personally write-up what I learn and share it. Not everyone does that, though. I can assure you, it's Free and worth every penny. Seriously though, you are free to wander my writings to check the details and understand more of what I do with what I discover, assuming that is of interest.
It’s clear lk-99 has created a lot of buzz, but this really puts it into perspective how shady the “discovery” really is. I really really want to be wrong about my doubts though.
@crow Not really sure how someone faking it would expect things to work out. Someone could decide they could get a bunch of clout and followers by faking it. But at some point they get shown to be a fraud then they lose any following they had. Are the people who claim to have discovered something notable before this or could they just be riding a wave for a min for a quick buck? I guess there have been cases in more proper scientific circles of faked results.
Reporting on it is kinda whatever as that's kinda just talking about what someone else claimed.
Another possibility is that some other mechanism is at work or there is a fault in the test setup. At that point the person making the claim could be wrong but not necessarily aware of it. Maybe due to a lack of knowledge.
