Ignoriert Mastodon gesetzte Rechte oder macht Friendica etwas falsch?

Ein Beitrag wurde mit dem Recht "beidseitige Freundschaft" versendet. Auf Friendica werden Kommentare ausgeblendet, wenn keine gemeinsame Schnittmenge zwischen den Followern besteht. Soweit richtig.

Wenn ich mir aber den gleichen Beitrag auf Mastodon ansehe, dann werden alle Kommentare angezeigt, obwohl dieser Kontakt den beteiligten Konten nicht folgt.

Wo ist mein Gedankenfehler?

@hoergen Wenn ich geheime Botschaften austauschen will, dann nutze ich das Fediverse nicht. Darum geht es nicht. Dein Kommentar ist nicht hilfreich.

Das Verhalten von Friendica und Mastodon ist hier scheinbar grundverschieden.

  • Friendica: Aus der Sicht eines befreundeten Dritten werden Kommentare ausgeblendet, wenn diese durch einen "nicht Follower" erstellt wird.
  • Mastodon: Der gleiche Kommentar erscheint auf Mastodon, obwohl dem Konto nicht gefolgt wird.

Was an der Einstellung "beidseitige Freundschaft" habe ich nicht richtig verstanden?
Oder anders gefragt: um einen vollständigen und für alle transparenten Thread zu besitzen, wäre es dann nicht sinnvoll, Kommentare an alle am Beitrag beteiligten zu versenden, egal, ob sie sich gegenseitig folgen?

Try to embed a YouTube video with the youtube or the video bbcode.. There seems to be something wrong with the video id. Maybe that is our problem ......

@noidea Initial feedback from Netcup was that they do not block anything themselves. A ping confirms this. They are currently checking whether there is another (network) problem. I have named 4 domains that are affected at Netcup.

@zwovierzwo Du musst unterscheiden. Es gibt den Picker und die Unicode Emojys. Zweite werden erst beim Versenden als Emojy umgesetzt.

Moin zusammen,
kann mir jemand einen Tipp geben, an welcher Stelle im Code ich schrauben muss, damit eingebettete Videos im richtigen Seitenverhältnis geladen werden?

Derzeit wird z.B. ein Youtube Video im Verhältnis 4:3 geladen. Das ist wie Röhrenfernsehen schauen ;)

Es sollte schon das Seitenverhältnis 16:9 aufweisen. Das ist wahrscheinlich nur eine kleine Änderung im Code. Ich weiß aber nicht, wo ich hingreifen soll.

More and more frequently, WordPress accounts are posing as groups. In this context, @pfefferle refers to a discussion at community.nodebb.org/category/…
As far as I understand it, these are currently only concepts. Apparently, however, they are already being implemented. This makes it difficult to subscribe to WordPress accounts if they are then displayed as groups and not as accounts.
Is something going wrong?

Happy Birthday to the oldest fediverse server project that is still actively maintained. This marks the beginning of development of the Mistpark decentralised social network. Bridges in other social media have always been an integral part of Fediverse. The release 2023.09-rc has integrated a bridge to Bluesky for this purpose. This does not rely on a third-party provider. The integration takes place via the add-on system. The admin of the instance can activate or deactivate this.

Once the user has activated the add-on for their account, the connection is established via an existing Bluesky account. The bidirectional interface allows communication with contacts that you follow on Bluesky.
